  • noun. amount added to a project's real cost or budget, thereby bloating it, to allow corrupt officials or operators to collect a kickback (transposed form of ”patong,” a term that became popular when Dante Madriaga testified in the Senate investigations; the term was allegedly used by Leo San Miguel to refer to the commission for the Greedy Group Plus Plus)
